Prime Minister Harper is out of step with Canadians. On January 29, the Harper government closed the popular ecoENERGY Retrofit program two months early, investing less than half of $400 million promised in Budget 2011. A week later, Mr Harper visits China to promote Canada’s oil sands to Asian markets.
Canadians want energy efficiency at the top of Canada’s energy agenda - not the bottom. Over one thousand Canadians have sent that message to Mr Harper via SaveEnergyFirst.ca.
