    Meet 'America's Tweethearts'

    (ANI)

Toronto, February 8 : A loved-up couple with a joint Twitter account and a joint blog have entitled themselves "America's Tweethearts" after having 140plus followers on the popular microblogging website.

Greg Verdino, 41, and Amanda Gravel, 24, tweet about their everyday activities, have a joint blog (gremanda.com) and call their fans "grefandas".

"As stupid as it seems, we have some fanboys and fangirls. Sometimes we'll deliberately post things that are a little bit edgy just to get someone to give us a Twitter groan,'" the Globe and Mail quoted Verdinom as saying.

Verdino further said he knew when to take backseat a while fiddling with gadgets, and broadcasting their relationship online.

He said: "We're not tethered to our devices. We've found that we've settled in on an acceptable level of connectivity."

But the fascination to ride the networking wave has left Etiquette guru Lizzie Post from the Emily Post Institute puzzled.

She said: "I don't understand why a lot of couples feel the need to interrupt their personal time with each other for tweeting. Tweet about it afterward."
